News on 20mph Faversham

Some of you will have noticed the cameras that KCC has installed around the town - see locations in the image below. The cameras are there to see how drivers are complying with the new speed limits in particular places and at different times of the day. If additional measures are implemented to improve compliance, the cameras will then observe how well those measures are working.

The cameras are NOT used for enforcement or other surveillance. No personal data is stored and the cameras do not capture identifying details of the vehicle, such as make, model, or registration number.
